Like many, 2020 created a pause in my life, which led to a period of deep reflection about my next step. In the space, I dreamt about how I could integrate 5+ years of experience styling and executing events, a 20+ year career in talent, my craft as a professional makeup artist, and my deep passion for details, ignited through my own journey to the altar. Following my faith, the answer was opening this event firm.
Along my path, I’ve helped thousands land dream career opportunities, shine confidently for their big days with the perfect makeup look, and designed and executed events described as once-in-a-lifetime. My approach to everything is centered on being intentional and listening to people’s dreams, desires, and interests and translating them to the physical world. Regardless of the medium, I seek to empower my clients in their journeys of self-transformation, confidence, and self-expression.
Intermingling work and play - when I'm not designing events, you can find me obsessing over my furry babies, honing my golfing skills (or pretending to), relishing divine vino in Napa with my better half Reid, trying artisanal restaurants and ordering everything on the menu (yes, everything), and spending time with my favorite human in the world, my daughter Robyn.

The ultimate embodiment of a hustler, she earned triad degrees in Textile & Fashion Design, Business and Chinese at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, and the Fashion Institute of Technology, while simultaneously founding Sarah Troy Designs, her namesake fashion brand, and working at various brands and start-ups.
Bringing a special combination of a creative mind, and analytical, results driven approach, Sarah manages the brand’s design and decor buying + purchasing efforts and supports various event projects. Her background in fashion design, events, and social make her one of the secret weapons behind the look and feel of the magic we co-create with our clients.

Taylor joined Leilani Donnan Events as a Special Projects Manager in the winter of 2021. Following her passion for bridal fashion, Taylor sought to get to know the industry on a deeper level, which led her to Leilani Donnan Events.
Taylor’s combination of innate talent, experience, and hustler’s mentality quickly made her an invaluable member of the team. Combining her master’s degree in Digital Audience Strategy, experience working for high impact brands like Meta/Facebook and Apple, and her ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects, she plays an instrumental role in the magic we co-create with our clients.
Taylor is currently utilizing her countless gifts to lead social media marketing initiatives, and event projects.

Marrying her ambition drive and soulful side in 2022 Kim launched her namesake business, www.kimknievel.com where she uses the Akashic Records and Human Design to help big dreamers and ambitious doers find more alignment, flow and potential. Through her work, she guides clients to explore and integrate soul-level truth and wisdom into everyday life.
Kim brings her storytelling, Akashic Records, and Human Design background to help brides/grooms connect and stay true to what their heart and soul is yearning for on their special day. As one of Leilani Donnan Event’s earliest clients, Kim knows first-hand the power and magic of having an incredible team you trust, and the importance of committing to what feels best for you on your journey to the altar.
